Nelle versioni notturne di Firefox che costituiranno la base per il rilascio di Firefox 81, \u00e8 inclusa<\/a><\/noindex> c'\u00e8 una nuova implementazione dell'interfaccia di anteprima prima della stampa. La nuova interfaccia di anteprima \u00e8 notevole per l'apertura nella scheda attuale sostituendo il contenuto esistente (la vecchia interfaccia di anteprima apriva una nuova finestra), cio\u00e8 funziona in modo analogo alla modalit\u00e0 lettore. Gli strumenti per configurare il formato della pagina e le opzioni di stampa sono stati spostati dalla parte superiore al pannello di destra, dove sono anche emerse ulteriori opzioni, come il controllo per l'inclusione della stampa di intestazioni e sfondi, oltre alla possibilit\u00e0 di selezionare la stampante. Per gestire l'attivazione della nuova modalit\u00e0 \u00e8 disponibile un'impostazione in about:config chiamata print.tab_modal.enabled.
