Disponibile<\/a><\/noindex> il rilascio della distribuzione Nitrux 1.3.2<\/a><\/noindex>, basato su una base Ubuntu e sulle tecnologie KDE. La distribuzione sviluppa un proprio ambiente desktop NX Desktop<\/a><\/noindex>, che rappresenta un'estensione dell'ambiente utente KDE Plasma. Per l'installazione di applicazioni aggiuntive, \u00e8 promossa una rete di pacchetti autonomi AppImages e un proprio centro di installazione software, il NX Software Center. La dimensione dell'immagine di avvio<\/a><\/noindex> \u00e8 di 3.2 GB. I progressi del progetto sono distribuite<\/a><\/noindex> sono sotto licenze libere.<\/p>\n

Il desktop NX Desktop offre un'interfaccia stilistica differente, una propria implementazione della systray, un centro di notifiche e vari plasmoidi, come il configuratore di connessioni di rete e un applet multimediale per la regolazione del volume e il controllo della riproduzione dei contenuti multimediali. Tra le applicazioni sviluppate dal progetto spicca anche l'interfaccia per la configurazione del firewall NX Firewall, che consente di gestire l'accesso di rete a livello di singole applicazioni.
