La principale novit\u00e0 di questa versione \u00e8 il porting del motore di rendering da OpenGL a Vulkan, il che migliora notevolmente le prestazioni e il frame rate in condizioni normali (cio\u00e8 non solo nei benchmark).<\/p>\n<p>X-Plane \u00e8 un simulatore di volo multipiattaforma (GNU\/Linux, macOS, Windows, oltre a Android e iOS) prodotto da Laminar Research, che funziona secondo il principio della &laquo;tunnel aerodinamico virtuale&raquo; (teoria degli elementi a lama), che prevede l'uso di un modello tridimensionale comune dell'aereo per i calcoli fisici.<\/p>\n<p>A differenza della maggior parte dei noti simulatori di volo commerciali, basati su modelli empirici medi, questo approccio consente di simulare con maggiore precisione il comportamento dell'aeromobile in un ampio range di condizioni (per dirla in altri termini, fornisce un realismo maggiore) e ha anche una certa capacit\u00e0 predittiva (in altri termini, \u00e8 possibile disegnare un aeromobile qualsiasi e voler\u00e0 come \u00e8 stato disegnato).<\/p>\n<p><noindex><noindex><\/p>\n<p>A causa della riprogettazione del motore grafico, in questa versione ci sono problemi di compatibilit\u00e0 con alcuni plugin e modelli di terze parti; l'elenco dei problemi noti \u00e8 disponibile in <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.x-plane.com\/kb\/x-plane-11-50-release-notes\/#Known_Addon_Issues\">Note di rilascio<\/a>.
