La build semplifica notevolmente la familiarizzazione con le edizioni esistenti delle distribuzioni e delle interfacce utente per PinePhone. Per avviare qualsiasi distribuzione, \u00e8 sufficiente scrivere sulla scheda SD un unico <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/downloads.reclaim.technology\/pinephone-multiboot-image\/\">immagine<\/a><\/noindex> (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/xnux.eu\/p-boot-demo\/p-boot-demo.torrent\">5GiB<\/a><\/noindex>) e selezionare la distribuzione desiderata dal menu di avvio. <\/p>\n<p>Per il boot \u00e8 stato utilizzato un bootloader appositamente scritto <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/xnux.eu\/p-boot\">p-boot<\/a><\/noindex>. Le distribuzioni sono collocate in sottocartelle Btrfs, il che permette di utilizzare snapshot, de-duplicare file ripetitivi nelle distribuzioni e mantenere uno spazio libero su disco comune a tutte le distribuzioni e ai dati dell'utente.
