Le immagini di installazione RHEL 7.9  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/downloads\/\">sono disponibili<\/a><\/noindex> per il download sono disponibili solo per gli utenti registrati del Red Hat Customer Portal e preparate per le architetture x86_64, IBM POWER7+, POWER8 (big endian e little endian) e IBM System z. I sorgenti dei pacchetti possono essere scaricati dal <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/git.centos.org\/\">repository Git<\/a><\/noindex> del progetto CentOS. <\/p>\n<p>Il ramo RHEL 7.x \u00e8 accompagnato parallelamente dal ramo <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50644\">RHEL 8.x<\/a><\/noindex> e sar\u00e0 supportato fino a giugno 2024. La prima fase di supporto per il ramo RHEL 7.x, che prevede l'inclusione di miglioramenti funzionali, \u00e8 terminata. Il rilascio di RHEL 7.9 \u00e8 stato preparato dopo  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/support\/policy\/updates\/errata\">il passaggio<\/a><\/noindex> essere passato alla fase di mantenimento, in cui le priorit\u00e0 si sono spostate verso la correzione di bug e sicurezza, con l'inserimento di miglioramenti minori legati al supporto dei principali sistemi hardware. <\/p>\n<p>Tra <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/documentation\/en-us\/red_hat_enterprise_linux\/7\/html-single\/7.9_release_notes\/index\">le modifiche<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono state aggiornate le versioni di alcuni pacchetti (SSSD 1.16.5, pacemaker 1.1.23, FreeRDP 2.1.1, MariaDB 5.5.68);\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunto driver EDAC (Error Detection and Correction) per i sistemi Intel ICX;\n<li class=\"l\"> Implementato supporto per gli adattatori di rete Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx;\n<li class=\"l\"> Driver aggiornati (QLogic FCoE, HP Smart Array Controller, Broadcom MegaRAID SAS, QLogic Fibre Channel HBA Driver, Microsemi Smart Family Controller);\n<li class=\"l\"> Supporto per le tecnologie SCSI T10 DIF\/DIX (Data Integrity Field\/Data Integrity Extension) e Intel Omni-Path Architecture (OPA) fornito.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel kernel sono stati aggiunti i parametri bert_disable e bert_enable per gestire l'attivazione di BERT (Boot Error Record Table) nei BIOS problematici, insieme al parametro srbds per attivare la protezione contro la vulnerabilit\u00e0. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=53126\">SRBDS<\/a><\/noindex> (Special Register Buffer Data Sampling).\n<\/ul>\n<p>A caldo, Oracle <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.oracle.com\/linux\/announcing-the-release-of-oracle-linux-7-update-9\">ha creato<\/a><\/noindex> rilascio della distribuzione <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/us\/technologies\/linux\/product\/overview\/index.html\">Oracle Linux 7.9<\/a><\/noindex>, basato sul pacchetto Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9. Per il download senza restrizioni <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/yum.oracle.com\/oracle-linux-isos.html\">distribuito<\/a><\/noindex> un'immagine iso di installazione di 4.7 GB, preparata per le architetture x86_64 e ARM64 (aarch64). Per Oracle Linux \u00e8 anche <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/edelivery.oracle.com\/linux\">\u00e8 aperto<\/a><\/noindex> accesso illimitato e gratuito al repository yum con aggiornamenti binari dei pacchetti contenenti correzioni (errata) e problemi di sicurezza.<\/p>\n<p>Oltre al pacchetto kernel di RHEL (3.10.0-1160), Oracle Linux include <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=52670\">il kernel Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 6 (kernel-uek-5.4.17-2011.6.2.el7uek), rilasciato<\/a><\/noindex> in primavera, che \u00e8 proposto di default. I sorgenti del kernel, inclusi mosaici di singoli patch, sono disponibili in un <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/oss.oracle.com\/git\/?p=linux-uek.git;a=summary\">repository Git pubblico.<\/a><\/noindex> Oracle. Il kernel si propone come un'alternativa al pacchetto kernel fornito con Red Hat Enterprise Linux e offre una serie di  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=38229\">funzionalit\u00e0 avanzate<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=43644\">possibilit\u00e0<\/a><\/noindex>, come l'integrazione di DTrace e un miglior supporto per Btrfs.
