Il progetto Debian \u00e8 lieto di annunciare una donazione di 10.000 dollari per aiutare Framasoft<\/a> raggiungere il quarto obiettivo della campagna di crowdfunding Peertube v3 \u2014 Streaming Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Quest'anno la conferenza annuale di Debian DebConf20<\/a> si \u00e8 tenuta online e, avendo avuto un successo strabiliante, ha chiaramente dimostrato al progetto che abbiamo bisogno di un'infrastruttura di streaming permanente per i piccoli eventi organizzati dai gruppi locali di Debian. Pertanto, Peertube<\/a>, la piattaforma di hosting video FLOSS, ci sembra la soluzione ideale.<\/p>\n

Speriamo che questo gesto non convenzionale del progetto Debian possa rendere quest'anno meno terribile e fornirci, quindi all'umanit\u00e0, migliori strumenti di software libero per avvicinarci al futuro.<\/p>\n

L'associazione Framasoft ringrazia di cuore il progetto Debian per il suo contributo autonomo alla creazione di PeerTube.<\/p>\n

Questo contributo ha un doppio significato. Innanzitutto, \u00e8 un chiaro segno di riconoscimento da parte di un progetto internazionale \u2013 uno dei pilastri del mondo del software libero \u2013 di una piccola associazione francese che offre strumenti per liberare gli utenti dalle grinfie delle gigantesche monopolistiche di Internet. In secondo luogo, rappresenta un sostegno significativo in questi tempi difficili, supportando lo sviluppo di uno strumento che appartiene e risulta utile a tutti.<\/p>\n

La forza di questo gesto da parte di Debian dimostra ancora una volta che solidariet\u00e0, aiuto reciproco e collaborazione sono valori che permettono alle nostre comunit\u00e0 di creare strumenti che ci aiutano a perseguire l'Utopia.<\/p>\n
