L'azienda SiFive ha presentato un piano per computer basati su Linux e RISC-V equipaggiati con il processore SiFive FU740 SoC. Questo processore a cinque core \u00e8 composto da quattro core SiFive U74 e un core SiFive S7. Il computer \u00e8 rivolto a sviluppatori e appassionati che desiderano costruire sistemi basati sulla architettura RISC-V e non \u00e8 pensato come una soluzione finale, ma come base per qualcosa di pi\u00f9 grande. La scheda avr\u00e0 8GB di RAM DDR4, 32GB di flash QSPI, microSD, una porta console per il debug, PCIe Gen 3 x8 per grafica, FPGA o altri dispositivi, M.2 per un'unit\u00e0 NVME (PCIe Gen 3 x4) e Wi-Fi\/Bluetooth (PCIe Gen 3 x1), quattro USB 3.2 Gen 1 type-A e Gigabit Ethernet.
