Un utente di Reddit ha segnalato un rallentamento delle operazioni di ingresso-uscita sul suo sistema con btrfs, dopo aver aggiornato il kernel alla versione 5.10.<\/p>\n

Ho trovato un modo molto semplice per riprodurre la regressione, ovvero l'estrazione di un enorme tarball, ad esempio: tar xf firefox-84.0.source.tar.zst. Sul mio SSD esterno USB3 con Ryzen 5950x, ci sono voluti quasi 5 minuti invece di circa 15 secondi con il kernel 5.9! Per escludere la frammentazione del file system, ho anche testato un SSD PCIe 4.0 da 1 TB nuovo di zecca, con una regressione simile, anche se non cos\u00ec scioccante, da 5.2 secondi a circa 34 secondi o circa il 650% con 5.10 :-\/.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
