Tuttavia, i repository git del codice sorgente<\/em> su GitHub vengono archiviati automaticamente dal sito https:\/\/softwareheritage.org\/<\/a>, mentre i repository esterni possono essere aggiunti solo manualmente, ma questa funzione presenta dei problemi e non supporta nemmeno l'aggiornamento automatico delle copie. Si crea cos\u00ec un paradosso: l'utente medio di GitHub non pensa al backup, ma lo riceve, mentre chi utilizza il proprio server, forse per affidabilit\u00e0, non beneficia di archiviazione automatica, anche se il loro software viene utilizzato.<\/p>\n
