\u00c8 stato rilasciato il minimalista sistema operativo Linux Tiny Core Linux 12.0, che pu\u00f2 funzionare su sistemi con 48 MB di RAM. L'ambiente grafico del sistema \u00e8 basato su Tiny X, un server X, sul toolkit FLTK e sul gestore di finestre FLWM. Il sistema operativo si carica interamente nella RAM e funziona dalla memoria. In questo nuovo rilascio sono stati aggiornati i componenti di sistema, inclusi il kernel Linux 5.10.3, busybox 1.33.0, Glibc 2.32, GCC 10.2.0, binutils 2.35.1, e2fsprogs 1.45.6 e util-linux 2.36.1. <\/p>\n

L'immagine iso di avvio occupa solo 16 MB. Per i sistemi a 64 bit \u00e8 stata preparata una versione CorePure64, di 17 MB. \u00c8 disponibile anche una versione CorePlus (160 MB), che include un insieme di pacchetti aggiuntivi, come diversi gestori di finestre (FLWM, JWM, IceWM, Fluxbox, Hackedbox, Openbox), un installer con la possibilit\u00e0 di installare estensioni aggiuntive, e un set di strumenti pronti per garantire l'accesso alla rete, incluso un gestore per configurare connessioni Wifi.
