Gli sviluppatori del progetto Debian hanno annunciato che il database dei pacchetti di Debian 11 \"Bullseye\" \u00e8 stato portato alla fase di congelamento completo, durante la quale il processo di trasferimento dei pacchetti chiave e dei pacchetti privi di autopkgtests da unstable a testing sar\u00e0 completamente fermato e inizier\u00e0 la fase di intenso collaudo e correzione dei problemi bloccanti per il rilascio. In casi speciali, i pacchetti da unstable possono essere trasferiti manualmente, ma ci\u00f2 richiede l'approvazione del team responsabile della preparazione del rilascio. <\/p>\n

Ricordiamo che il 15 gennaio 2021 \u00e8 stata completata la prima fase di congelamento del database dei pacchetti di Debian 11, durante la quale sono state interrotte le \"transizioni\" (aggiornamenti dei pacchetti che richiedono modifiche alle dipendenze di altri pacchetti, che portano alla rimozione temporanea di pacchetti da Testing) e sono stati bloccati gli aggiornamenti dei pacchetti necessari per la compilazione (build-essential). Attualmente ci sono 240 errori critici che bloccano il rilascio (due mesi fa erano 472, al momento del congelamento in Debian 10 erano 316, in Debian 9 erano 275, in Debian 8 erano 350, in Debian 7 erano 650). Il rilascio finale di Debian 11 \u00e8 atteso per l'estate.
