4. daļa: joprojām darbojas Linux operētājsistēmā RocketChip RISC-V Attēlā Linux kodols sūta jums sveicienus, izmantojot GPIO.

Å ajā stāsta daļā par RISC-V RocketChip pārneÅ”anu uz Ä·Ä«nieÅ”u plati ar Cyclone IV mēs joprojām darbosimies Linux, kā arÄ« iemācÄ«simies paÅ”iem konfigurēt IP Core atmiņas kontrolieri un nedaudz rediģēt iekārtas DTS aprakstu. Å is raksts ir turpinājums treŔā daļa, bet, atŔķirÄ«bā no diezgan plaŔā iepriekŔējā, tas bÅ«s diezgan Ä«ss.

ā€¦ Tāpēc ka setup_smp izsauc tikai tad, ja kodols ir konfigurēts ar SMP atbalstu, varat mēģināt atspējot daudzkodolu. BÅ«s nepatÄ«kami, ja atmiņas modulÄ« bÅ«s jāievieÅ” arÄ« atomitātes atbalsts (man Ŕķita, ka keÅ”atmiņa pati par sevi lāpÄ«), bet viena kodola gadÄ«jumā tam nevajadzētu mÅ«s traucēt.

Interesanti, ka pēc visas atkļūdoÅ”anas es nolēmu apskatÄ«t, kā vajadzētu izskatÄ«ties kodola ā€œatsaucesā€ izvadei, viņŔ teica. make qemu, un konstatēja lÄ«dzÄ«gu kļūdu.

Diemžēl nākamais lÄ«menis (Linux kodols) ir sarežģītāks: GDB, kas savienots caur JTAG ar RocketChip, acÄ«mredzot darbojas ar fiziskām adresēm neatkarÄ«gi no tā, kā ir konfigurēts MMU, un kodols, kas mÅ«s interesē Å”obrÄ«d, jau ir konfigurējis displeju. adresēm, tāpēc to ir viegli pateikt display/10i $pc tas neizdosies - mēs redzēsim tikai daudz unimp. Bet, ja mēs jau esam izdomājuÅ”i nobÄ«di (Ŕķiet, ka 0x80200000 -> 0xffffffe000000000), tad jÅ«s varat krāpties:

Bet nesteidzieties pārstartēt dēli - pēc maniem novērojumiem, pietiek ar restartÄ“Å”anu tikai gdb (ņemiet vērā, ka vecie pārtraukuma punkti var nepazust).

PatiesÄ«bā jums bÅ«s jārisina sākotnējā problēma: atkļūdoÅ”anas izvietoÅ”ana printk par funkciju of_find_node_by_type, ko izmanto sāknÄ“Å”anas procesora kodola meklÄ“Å”anas kods, parāda, ka tas redz kaut kādus atkritumus, nevis ierīču tipu nosaukumus. Piemēram, tas no kaut kurienes paņem rindu ā€œSerial portā€, lai gan tas acÄ«mredzami nav dtb laukā device_type. Meklējot Å”os baitus kodola attēlā, es tos atradu, apskatÄ«ju nobÄ«di un sapratu acÄ«mredzamo: kodola izmērs sāknÄ“Å”anas parametros ir skaidri novērtēts par zemu: tam ir atvēlēti 8 Mb, bet tas aizņem vairāk nekā desmit. PieŔķīru 16Mb, bet dÄ«vainÄ«bas neapstājās. Pēc dejoÅ”anas ar FDT nolasÄ«Å”anu no dažādām adresēm (parasti adrese tiek pārsÅ«tÄ«ta uz kodolu reÄ£istrā a1), beidzot nolēmu izsekot, bet ko tagad tur tas ir parsēts. Par laimi, tā vietā, lai staigātu ar atkļūdotāju (un mēs atceramies, ka ar adreÅ”u tulkoÅ”anu ir nianses, kuras joprojām ir jāatrisina tā vai citādi), varat vienkārÅ”i un ātri iedziļināties failā drivers/of/fdt.c precizēt #define pr_debug printk. Rezultāts bija:

Un tad atklājās noslēpumaina un nepatÄ«kama lieta: ja es uzreiz nolikÅ”u pārtraukuma punktu kaut kur salÄ«dzinoÅ”i tālu no zināmā-labā stāvokļa, tad, pie tā apstājoties, ieraudzÄ«Å”u jau sabojāto atmiņu. Bet, ja jÅ«s mēģināt klusi piezagties viņai soli pa solim, kļūdai izdodas paslēpties! Tas smaržo pēc bojāta atmiņas kontrollera un keÅ”atmiņas, kas slēpj kļūdu, ja pastāvÄ«gi pieprasāt nepiecieÅ”amo vērtÄ«bu. Ko darÄ«t, jaā€¦

Atmiņas nomaiņa

Pieķēries iespējai atrisināt problēmu, kas nebija manā pusē, pieņēmu, ka varbÅ«t tikko esmu saņēmis saplÄ«suÅ”u atmiņas karti. Tad atcerējos, ka desmit gadus vecs netbook ir ne tikai portatÄ«vais dators, bet arÄ« vērtÄ«gs DDR2 SO-DIMM avots. Kā bonusu varat tajā ievietot no tāfeles noņemto atmiņu un panākt, lai Memtest gandrÄ«z uzreiz uzkaras (starp citu, Linux ielādēts gandrÄ«z lÄ«dz grafiskajam apvalkam. Bet labāk neatkārtot Å”o eksperimentu, ja novērtējat informāciju par uzstādÄ«tajiem diskiem...). No vienas puses, mēs varam pieņemt, ka atmiņa vienkārÅ”i nederēja Å”im konkrētajam netbook. No otras puses, viņŔ varēja boot! Bija cerÄ«ba, ka atmiņa vienkārÅ”i ir ā€œsalauztaā€, un problēma nebija manā iesaiņojumā.

Tas nozÄ«mē, ka jums ir jāmēģina Ä«slaicÄ«gi palaist ar netbook atmiņu. Diemžēl Quartus 18 nezina, kā uzlabot Å”o IP Core, lai to varētu rediģēt. Tas nozÄ«mē, ka beidzot ir pienācis laiks iemācÄ«ties izveidot jaunas instances. Viss izrādÄ«jās pavisam vienkārÅ”i: mēs IP katalogā meklējam vienumu DDR2 SDRAM Controller ar ALTMEMPHY Intel FPGA IP un iegÅ«stam bloku ar tādu paÅ”u interfeisu kā iepriekÅ”. Atmiņas moduļa parametru iegÅ«Å”ana

Ir samērā skaidrs veids, kā konfigurēt moduli: nolasÄ«t parametrus no SPD. PatieŔām, ja parasts dators nolasa SPD datus un, pamatojoties uz tiem, konfigurē kontrolieri, tad atņemsim Å”os datus par esoÅ”o netbook un ievadÄ«sim tabulā.

Tas tiek darÄ«ts Ubuntu ļoti vienkārÅ”i: jums ir jāinstalē pakotne i2c-tools, slodzes moduļi eeprom Šø i2c-i801 (Tomēr neesmu pārliecināts, ka otrs Å”oferis strādās visur), tad skrien decode-dimms:

Pievienojot rindu #define pr_debug printk līdz faila sākumam init/initramfs.c, kurā initramfs vietā tiek parādīts ziņojums par atkritumu, mēs saņemam nedaudz detalizētāku ziņojumu:

Tas ir, iespējams, atkritumi nav nevis initramfs, un Š²Š¼ŠµŃŃ‚Šµ.

Labi, viņŔ kaut ko atrada, varbÅ«t ar to pietiek. Kur pazuda konsole? MeklÄ“Å”ana sniedz saiti uz problēmu vietnē Github: Linux neizdevās izsaukt vc707 plati ā€” izrādās, ka par UART vien, pēc Å”ofera domām, pat runāt nav vērts. Bet korekcija datēts ar 11. gada 2018. jÅ«liju ā€” pirms gada. IzrādÄ«jās, ka Ŕī apņemÅ”anās nekad nav iekļuvusi kokā, no kura es veidoju kodolu. Manuāli uzliekot Å”o ielāpu, es saņēmu strādājoÅ”u Linux! IzrādÄ«jās, ka problēma ar initramfs tieŔām nebija kritiska.

Ielogoties kā user=root, password=sifive, varēju bez problēmām (izņemot sapratni, ka GPIO numuram ir bāze, no kuras viss tiek aprēķināts un kas tikai jānolasa no atbilstoŔā pseido faila) cauri sysfs iedegas LED uz tāfeles.

Tāpat kā iepriekŔējo reizi, es pievienoju teksta video par Linux palaiÅ”anu. Kad konsole pārslēdzas no earlyprintk uz standarta, parādās sava veida atkritumi, lÄ«dzÄ«gi kā izvadē, ja UART ātrums ir iestatÄ«ts nepareizi. Interesanti, ka spēlētājs veiksmÄ«gi tika galā ar Å”o "putru".
