Snoop Project v1.3.9

Snoop Project v1.3.9

Open-source software. The main functionality of Snoop Project is to track the 'username' in public data, along with various OSINT plugins available.

Snoop Project is developed based on research in the field of scraping public data (own database). Currently, Snoop tracks nickname across 3.5K online resources (in the full version) and on the most popular platforms (in the demo version).

Er zijn kant-en-klare builds voorbereid voor OS GNU/Linux en Windows, en het kan ook worden samengesteld vanuit de broncodes in Termux (Android). https://github.com/snooppr/snoop/releases

Wijzigingenlijst:

  • The search web base of Snoop has been expanded to ↑ 3500 sites.

  • Memory leak affecting Snoop version for Windows users has been fixed.

  • Fixed crash of Snoop when saving reports with the ‘–save-page/-S’ option in extremely rare cases (for example, if sites intentionally hindered parsing or contained unsupported characters in their declared encoding. Thanks to a subscriber from Serbia for reporting this bug).

  • In verbose mode, the ‘–verbose/-v’ option now includes a new metric: tracking available/consumed RAM.

  • Faster printing output from the ‘dynamic gray list’ and invalid/cyrillic ‘nickname(s)’ on certain sites (the optimization is relevant for users of Snoop for Windows full versions).

  • A secret has been added to the Snoop Project software related to the search for special nickname(s).

  • Rarely used options in help-a have been hidden: ‘–cert/-C’ and ‘Headers/-H’ to avoid cluttering the help section (the options continue to work if invoked, descriptions of the keys remain in the documentation and readme).

  • ‘Copyright’ has been added to all reports.

  • The branches ‘snoop_termux’ and ‘master’ have been merged, and the installation instructions for Snoop on Android/Termux have been slightly changed (the code has been synchronized, saving disk space and simplifying further development/support of the codebase. To receive updates from the ‘source code’, Snoop for OS Android/Termux users should perform ‘git checkout master’ or ‘git clone’ anew).

  • The flags of Kb/WR states have been merged (WR stands for the whole world. Kb previously meant 'cyberpunks', usually referring to forums where communication occurs in English, but the location is not specified in the usage conditions or privacy policy/feedback).

  • De documentatie is bijgewerkt.

  • Minor visual improvements.
