ESET Company over the release of new versions of NOD32 Antivirus and NOD32 Internet Security, designed to protect devices running Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android from malware and internet threats.
The new generation of ESET security solutions differs from previous versions with more effective tools for countering modern cyber threats, enhanced reliability, and speed of operation. Developers have paid special attention to incorporating protection tools that utilize machine learning technologies and artificial intelligence systems based on neural networks.
The intrusion prevention system (HIPS), the Anti-Phishing module, and the Home Network Protection component have also been improved. Now ESET NOD32 products check all devices connected to the home router and provide information about them (name, model, manufacturer, etc.), as well as report potential issuesāsuch as unpatched vulnerabilities or weak passwords. To assess password strength, ESET solutions can simulate simple attacks by brute-forcing combinations.
There are also significant improvements in the Online Payment Protection module. It now works with an expanded list of banking websites and cryptocurrency resources, and it supports the HTTP/2 protocol. ESET NOD32 Internet Security contains a built-in list of sites (with editing capabilities), activating a special secure browser when navigating to them.
