We all know that outgoing links from our website to other sites are viewed negatively by search engines. The more links there are, the worse it is for us. However, sometimes we still have to include links (tracking, directory buttons, etc.). These are what we will hide from search engines using a plugin for wordpress ā WP-NoRef.
A wonderful and simple plugin will do all the work for us. Of course, we can close links manually, but that's tedious and not worth spending time on such nonsense.
We download and install the plugin on our site. We activate it. In the blog admin panel, a menu will appear WP-NoRef. We enter it and see: Two windows. That's it!!!!
After our site gets at least a 10 in TCI and we can add it to link exchange services, these windows will come in handy. When advertising links start getting placed on our site, these links cannot be hidden from search engines. The advertiser pays money for the search engine to find their link. The link is placed, but it will automatically be hidden by the plugin. We add the advertiser's domain in the upper window of the plugin. Above the window, it says, "List the domeinen-exceptions that should not be hidden from search engines, separated by commas. For example, site1.nl, site2.nl, site3.nl (zonder www)", meaning we insert the advertiser's domain in the form of domainadvertiser.nl
