"Open in Windows Terminal"
You can now launch Terminal with your default profile in the selected directory by right-clicking on the desired folder in Explorer and choosing "Open in Windows Terminal".
Opmerking: this will launch Windows Terminal Preview until this feature moves to Windows Terminal in July 2020.
Launching Windows Terminal on startup
has added a new option that allows you to configure Windows Terminal to start automatically when your computer starts. To enable this feature, simply set startOnUserLogin en een werkende opdracht krijgen. true in global settings.

Alt+Click to open pane
If you want to open an additional profile as a pane in the current window, you can click on it while holding Alt. This will open the selected profile in a pane using the split function with the value auto, which divides the active window or pane to maximize space.
Tab updates
Changing colors
You can now color your tabs by right-clicking on them and selecting "Color...". This will open the corresponding menu where you can choose one of the suggested colors or specify your own color using a color palette, hexadecimal code, or RGB fields. Colors for each tab will be saved for the current session. We express our immense gratitude for this feature!
Tip: use the same shade that is used as the background color for a beautiful seamless window!
Tabbladen hernoemen

Dankzij we hebben een optie toegevoegd voor de globale parameter tabWidthMode, waarmee de grootte van elk inactief tabblad kan worden verminderd tot de breedte van het pictogram, terwijl het actieve tabblad meer ruimte heeft voor het weergeven van de volledige titel.

Nieuwe commandoregelargumenten
We hebben verschillende extra commando's toegevoegd om als argumenten te gebruiken wanneer je wt vanuit de opdrachtregel aanroept. Het eerste argument is —maximized (of -M), dat Windows Terminal opent in een uitgevouwen toestand. Het tweede is —fullscreen (of -F), dat Windows Terminal opent in de volledig schermmodus. Deze twee commando's kunnen niet worden gecombineerd.
Het derde en laatste is —title, waarmee je de titel van het tabblad kunt geven voor het starten van Windows Terminal. De werking is vergelijkbaar met tabTitle.
Opmerking: als je zowel Windows Terminal als Windows Terminal Preview hebt geïnstalleerd, zal het commando wt Windows Terminal aanspreken, dat deze nieuwe argumenten niet zal ondersteunen tot juli 2020. Je kunt dit oplossen door gebruik te maken van .
