It supports FTP, NFS, Samba, AFP, rsync, and iSCSI for storage access, while software RAID (0,1,5) can be used for enhanced reliability. Client authorization supports LDAP\/Active Directory. The size of the ISO image is 900MB (x86_64). At the same time, the TrueNAS SCALE distribution is being developed, which uses Linux instead of FreeBSD.      <\/p>\n<p>Key innovations in TrueNAS CORE 13.0:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> The implementation of the ZFS file system has been updated to OpenZFS 2.1, and the contents of the base environment have been synchronized with FreeBSD 13.1. It is noted that the transition to the FreeBSD 13 branch and added optimizations have resulted in a performance increase of large NAS by up to 20%. The time for importing ZFS pools has been significantly reduced due to parallelization of operations.
