Voor het controleren van uw projecten op afhankelijkheden met ongepatchte kwetsbaarheden is er de tool &#171;govulncheck&#187;, die de codebasis van het project analyseert en een rapport genereert over het gebruik van kwetsbare functies. Daarnaast is er het pakket vulncheck ontwikkeld, dat een API biedt voor integratie van de controle in verschillende projecten en tools.    <\/p>\n<p>De controle vindt plaats op basis van een speciaal opgezette database met kwetsbaarheden, beheerd door het Go Security Team. In deze database worden gegevens verzameld over bekende kwetsbaarheden in publiek beschikbare modules in de programmeertaal Go. De gegevens worden verzameld uit verschillende bronnen, waaronder rapporten van CVE en GHSA (GitHub Advisory Database), en op basis van informatie die wordt aangeleverd door de onderhouders van de pakketten.
