De builds van MySQL Community Server 8.2.0 zijn voorbereid voor alle belangrijke Linux-distributies, FreeBSD, macOS en Windows.    <\/p>\n<p>MySQL 8.2.0 is the second release formed under the new release model that includes two types of MySQL branches \u2014 \u2018Innovation\u2019 and \u2018LTS\u2019. The Innovation branches, which include MySQL 8.1 and 8.2, are recommended for those who want early access to new features. These branches are published every 3 months and are supported only until the next significant release is published (for example, support for branch 8.1 is discontinued after the release of branch 8.2). LTS branches are recommended for implementations that require predictability and a long-term unchanging behavior. LTS branches will be released every two years and will be supported in the mainline for 5 years, with an additional 3 years of extended support available. The LTS release of MySQL 8.4 is expected in the spring of 2024, after which a new Innovation branch 9.0 will be formed.      <\/p>\n<p>Belangrijkste veranderingen in MySQL 8.2:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Ondersteuning voor een authenticatiemechanisme op basis van de Webauthn-specificatie (FIDO2) is toegevoegd, waarmee multi-factorauthenticatie mogelijk is en verbindingen met <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/nl\/server\/dts-shicago\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2927\">server<\/a> MySQL zonder wachtwoorden kunnen worden bevestigd, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van hardwaretokens die FIDO2 ondersteunen of biometrische authenticatie.
