De beschrijving van de kwetsbaarheden is nog niet openbaar, echter wordt de kritieke classificatie meestal toegekend bij de mogelijkheid van externe code-uitvoering door een aanvaller. Alle gebruikers van Suricata wordt aangeraden hun systemen dringend bij te werken.    <\/p>\n<p>In de wijzigingslijst van Suricata worden de kwetsbaarheden niet expliciet genoemd, maar in een van de correcties wordt een probleem genoemd met het aanspreken van geheugen na het vrijgeven tijdens de verwerking van incorrecte HTTP-headers.
