Installatiebeelden zijn voorbereid voor de architecturen x86_64, ARM64, ppc64le en s390x in de vorm van een bootimage (1 GB), minimale image (2,1 GB) en volledige image (13 GB). Later zijn er plannen om Live-builds met GNOME, KDE, Xfce en MATE te maken, evenals beelden voor Raspberry Pi-platforms, WSL, containers en cloudplatforms.        <\/p>\n<p>De distributie is bij voorkeur binair compatibel met Red Hat Enterprise Linux en kan worden gebruikt als vervanging voor RHEL 8.10. In tegenstelling tot eerdere versies zijn de wijzigingen niet beperkt tot een rebranding en het verwijderen van RHEL-specifieke pakketten \u2014 in de nieuwe versie wordt de ondersteuning voor hardware in de stuurprogramma's, die niet meer worden bijgewerkt in RHEL, verder uitgebreid. In het bijzonder zijn in AlmaLinux 8.10 nieuwe PCI-apparaatidentificators toegevoegd aan de volgende stuurprogramma's:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\">  aacraid \u2014 Dell PERC2, 2\/Si, 3\/Si, 3\/Di, Adaptec Advanced Raid Products, HP NetRAID-4M, IBM ServeRAID &amp; ICP SCSI\n<li class=\"l\"> be2iscsi \u2014 Emulex OneConnect Open-iSCSI voor BladeEngine 2 en 3 adapters\n<li class=\"l\"> be2net \u2014 Emulex BladeEngine 2 en 3\n<li class=\"l\"> hpsa - HP Smart Array Controller\n<li class=\"l\"> lpfc - Emulex LightPulse Fibre Channel SCSI\n<li class=\"l\"> megaraid_sas - Broadcom MegaRAID SAS\n<li class=\"l\"> mlx4_core \u2014 Mellanox Gen2 en ConnectX-2\n<li class=\"l\"> mpt3sas - LSI MPT Fusion SAS 3.0\n<li class=\"l\"> mptsas - Fusion MPT SAS Host\n<li class=\"l\"> qla2xxx - QLogic Fibre Channel HBA\n<li class=\"l\"> qla4xxx \u2014 QLogic iSCSI HBA  <\/ul>\n<p>Daarnaast is er een Synergy-repository beschikbaar voor gebruik, waarin pakketten zijn opgenomen die verschillen van Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Momenteel zijn in de Synergy-repository aanvullende Python-bibliotheken, grpc-pakketten, rdfind, xapps en het hulpmiddel Warpinator gepubliceerd, dat bedoeld is voor versleutelde bestandsoverdracht tussen twee computers.       <\/p>\n<p>Ten slotte kan worden opgemerkt dat de release van EuroLinux 8.10 is voorbereid door de broncode van de pakketten van de Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10-distributie opnieuw samen te stellen en volledig binair compatibel is met deze. De wijzigingen zijn beperkt tot herbranding en het verwijderen van RHEL-specifieke pakketten; verder is de distributie volledig gelijk aan RHEL 8.10.
