De distributie is gebaseerd op de pakketbasis van Ubuntu 24.04 met een eigen repository. Dit project kan handig zijn voor enthousiastelingen die hun omgeving willen omzetten van LXDE naar omgevingen die gebruikmaken van Wayland. Er is een versie beschikbaar voor de amd64-architectuur (1.1 GB).  <\/p>\n<p>De omgeving van de distributie is gebaseerd op GTK3, compositie <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/nl\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"de server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3896\">de server<\/a> Labwc (Lab Wayland Compositor) heeft mogelijkheden die doen denken aan de vensterbeheerder Openbox, de Sfwbar-tafel en de bestandsbeheerder spacefm. De distributie bevat het minimale aantal pakketten \u2014 aanbevolen applicaties kunnen tijdens de installatie via de Calamares-installateur worden ge\u00efnstalleerd.  <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Vrijgave van de Lightweight Wayland Desktop Environment U24.04.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/591ad3e36d052027f012cd369c0c2dc5.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>  <\/p>\n<p>Kenmerken van de build:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\">  Geschikt voor hardware met beperkte middelen (verbruikt 213 MB RAM na opstarten)\n<li class=\"l\">  Er is een gepatchte versie van Labwc gebruikt met een vensterwisseling, die een voorbeeldweergave ondersteunt.\n<li class=\"l\">  Extra widgets in sfwbar: netwerkmonitoring, temperatuur, toetsenbordindeling.\n<li class=\"l\">  Dankzij de ingebouwde widgets voor Wi-Fi-, Bluetooth- en geluidsinstellingen in Sfwbar is het mogelijk geworden zware componenten zoals NetworkManager, Blueman en Pavucontrol te verwijderen. De configuratie gebeurt via de bijbehorende indicatoren in Sfwbar.\n<li class=\"l\">  In de bestandsbeheerder spacefm zijn plug-ins toegevoegd voor de prullenbak en een interface voor het monteren zonder gvfs.\n<li class=\"l\">  Ontbrekende GUI-elementen zijn geschreven in bash + Yad of Gtkdialog.
