Voor het gebruik van DXVK zijn stuurprogramma's nodig die Vulkan API 1.3 ondersteunen, zoals Mesa RADV 24.0, NVIDIA 535.183.01, Intel ANV 24.0, AMDVLK 2024.Q1.3, AMDGPU-PRO en NVK 24.1. DXVK kan worden gebruikt om 3D-toepassingen en games in Linux te draaien met behulp van Wine, als een krachtigere alternatieve oplossing voor de ingebouwde Direct3D-implementaties in Wine die bovenop OpenGL werken.      <\/p>\n<p>Belangrijkste wijzigingen:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Ondersteuning voor de NVIDIA Reflex-technologie is toegevoegd, waarmee vertragingen bij het renderen van graphics in games worden verminderd door opdrachten voor het genereren van een nieuw frame vooraf te sturen, nog voordat het huidige frame is gerenderd. Voor het gebruik van Reflex in games op basis van Direct3D 11 is een NVIDIA-stuurprogramma nodig dat de Vulkan-extensie VK_NV_low_latency2 ondersteunt, en de experimentele tak van het Proton-pakket moet worden ge\u00efnstalleerd. Onder de games waarvoor de voorgestelde optimalisatie kan worden toegepast, zijn: God of War, Overwatch 2 en Quake Champions. Games gebaseerd op de Unreal Engine 4 worden voorlopig nog niet ondersteund.\n<li class=\"l\"> In de implementaties van D3D8 en D3D9 is een raceconditie verholpen die leidde tot het crashen van games die middelen in een multithread-modus laadden.\n<li class=\"l\"> Een programmeerinterface ID3D11On12Device1 is toegevoegd.\n<li class=\"l\"> De implementatie van vervangbare virtuele framebuffers (SwapChain) op basis van de Vulkan API is herzien.\n<li class=\"l\"> Een oplossing is toegevoegd voor het omzeilen van de gebruikelijke fout in games, die leidt tot vervorming van de output op systemen met NVIDIA-drivers die MSAA (Multisample Anti-Aliasing) gebruiken. De prijs is een lichte verhoging van het geheugengebruik en de belasting op de CPU. Het probleem deed zich voor in games zoals Assassin's Creed 3 \/ Black Flag, Watch Dogs en Stalker: Clear Sky.\n<li class=\"l\"> Optimalisaties zijn doorgevoerd die mogelijk de prestaties verbeteren in games die de NVAPI UAVOverlap-modus, pixelshaders UAV of resourcebinding gebruiken. Bijvoorbeeld, de prestatieverbetering is merkbaar in games zoals Baldurs Gate 3, Trine 5 en God of War.\n<li class=\"l\"> Problemen opgelost die zich in games manifesteerden:\n<ul>\n<li > Cardfight!!
