De levering van 64-bits builds van Wine heeft het gebruik van de multilib-repository met 32-bits versies van bibliotheken voor de pakketten wine en wine-staging stopgezet.     <\/p>\n<p>Als reden voor deze wijziging wordt de synchronisatie met de wijzigingen in het hoofproject Wine genoemd, die verband houden met het vereenvoudigen van het maken van pakketten en het verkorten van de afhankelijkheden. Onder de problemen die zich kunnen voordoen na de migratie naar Wow64, worden een vermindering van de OpenGL-prestaties voor 32-bits Windows-programma's en de noodzaak om bestaande 32-bits
