Zo is er bijvoorbeeld een probleem met de werking van de ChatGPT-website. Voor heractivering van de ondersteuning voor compressie van inhoud via de doorgegeven <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/nl\/server\/dts-prohoster\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3116\">server<\/a> woordenlijsten kan de instelling \u2018network.http.dictionaries.enable\u2019 op de pagina about:config worden gebruikt.\n<li class=\"l\"> Een fout in de implementatie van de Freedesktop.org XDG Base Directory-specificatie is verholpen. Ondanks de verhuizing van opslag van profielen, extensies, instellingen en interne databases naar de map \u2018~\/.config\/mozilla\u2019 bleef de browser een lege map \u2018~\/.mozilla\/extensions\u2019 aanmaken.\n<li class=\"l\"> Een probleem met de tijdsformaatbepaling in de methode Intl.DateTimeFormat is opgelost, wat leidde tot een verkeerde tijdweergave op sommige websites (bijvoorbeeld in plaats van \u201812 GMT-06:00\u2019 werd \u201812h GMT-06:00\u2019 weergegeven).    <\/ul>\n<p>Daarnaast wordt gemeld dat de ondersteuning voor de oude zijbalk dit jaar zal worden stopgezet. In Firefox 136 is een nieuwe implementatie van de zijbalk toegevoegd, die samengevouwen kan worden weergegeven met alleen de knoppen voor beschikbare acties (in de oude zijbalk werden de modi gewijzigd via een uitklapmenu, en in de nieuwe via zijknoppen). In de nachtbouw van Firefox 148 is de nieuwe zijbalk standaard ingeschakeld. In het tweede kwartaal van 2026 worden alle gebruikers van de oude zijbalk automatisch overgezet naar de nieuwe zijbalk, maar er zal een optie zijn om de oude zijbalk te herstellen.
