Het platform is gebouwd op de pakketbasis van de Sisyphus-repository (p11) en is uitgerust met de grafische shell Phosh, die is gebaseerd op GNOME-technologie\u00ebn en gebruikmaakt van de compositieserver Phoc.      <\/p>\n<p>Voor downloads zijn er beelden voorbereid voor de architecturen x86_64 en ARM64, die kunnen worden gebruikt voor installatie op PinePhone, PinePhone Pro, PineTab 2 en de \"MIG\" tablets (op de x86-64 architectuur), evenals voor uitvoering in QEMU. Het platform is ook gepoort voor gebruik op gameconsoles zoals Anbernic, PowKiddy, Retroid op basis van SoC Rockchip, Allwinner en Qualcomm.    <\/p>\n<p>De gedownloade versie mag alleen vrij worden gebruikt door natuurlijke personen, waaronder \u2014 individuele ondernemers. Commerci\u00eble en overheidsinstanties kunnen het platform downloaden en testen, maar voor permanent gebruik in de bedrijfsinfrastructuur moeten rechtspersonen licenties aanschaffen of schriftelijke licentieovereenkomsten sluiten. De ontwikkeling van ALT Mobile gebeurt echter in overeenstemming met de principes van vrije software en de codebasis is volledig open.      <\/p>\n<p>Het platform biedt de mogelijkheid om met een multi-user-systeem te werken, waarbij de Phrog-inlogmanager wordt gebruikt voor het schakelen tussen gebruikers. Indien nodig kan Waydroid en Wine worden gebruikt om applicaties te draaien die zijn samengesteld voor Android en Windows, en ook een terminalemulator openen voor werk in de opdrachtregel.
