Hiermee kunnen grafische applicaties worden gemaakt die werken op zowel moderne als verouderde systemen (Windows 95+, macOS\/OS X\/Mac OS X 10.6+, distributies met Linux kernel 2.0+, FreeBSD 3.0+). Een eenvoudig cross-platform API voor het beheren van vensters en het verwerken van invoerapparaat evenementen wordt aangeboden. Voor het tekenen kan OpenGL 1.0-4.6 worden gebruikt. De code is geschreven in de programmeertaal C en wordt geleverd onder de LGPL 3.0-licentie.<\/p>\n<p>In de nieuwe release:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Er is een universele 2D-render toegevoegd die het mogelijk maakt om primitieve vormen en texturen met en zonder transparantie weer te geven. Ondersteuning voor grafische kaarten met OpenGL 1.2, 2.0 of 3.0 is beschikbaar.
