De distributie valt op door het vereenvoudigde en gebruiksvriendelijke installatieproces, ondersteuning voor automatische hardwareherkenning en installatie van de benodigde stuurprogramma's. Manjaro wordt geleverd in de vorm van live-builds met grafische omgevingen KDE (5,2 GB), GNOME (5 GB) en Xfce (4,9 GB), samengesteld voor de x86_64-architectuur en verschillende platforms gebaseerd op ARM-processors. Samen met de gemeenschap zijn er extra builds ontwikkeld met Budgie, Cinnamon, Deepin, LXQt en i3.    <\/p>\n<p>Voor het beheren van repositories in Manjaro wordt de eigen tool BoxIt gebruikt, ontworpen naar het voorbeeld van Git. De repository wordt onderhouden volgens het principe van continue updates (rolling), maar nieuwe versies ondergaan een aanvullende stabilisatiefase. Naast de eigen repository is er ondersteuning voor het gebruik van de AUR (Arch User Repository). De distributie is voorzien van een grafische installer en een grafische interface voor systeemconfiguratie.       <\/p>\n<p>Kenmerken van de release:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> De Linux-kernel is bijgewerkt naar versie 7.1.
