Momenteel <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bugs.debian.org\/release-critical\/\">zijn er<\/a><\/noindex> zijn er 146 kritieke fouten die de release blokkeren (een maand geleden waren het er 316, twee maanden geleden \u2014 577, op het moment van bevriezen in Debian 9 \u2014 275, in Debian 8 \u2014 350, Debian 7 \u2014 650). De definitieve release van Debian 10 wordt verwacht in de zomer.<\/p>\n<p>In vergelijking met <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50080\">de vijfde<\/a><\/noindex> alpha-release zijn de volgende wijzigingen aangebracht:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Voor de amd64-architectuur is de ondersteuning voor gecontroleerd opstarten (UEFI Secure Boot) toegevoegd. Voor de werking van Secure Boot is de Shim-loader, ondertekend door een digitale handtekening van Microsoft (shim-signed), gebruikt in combinatie met de certificering van de kernel en bootloader grub (grub-efi-amd64-signed) door een eigen certificaat van het project (shim fungeert als een tussenlaag voor het gebruik van de eigen sleutels van de distributie). In tegenstelling tot eerdere builds is er gebruikgemaakt van een gevalideerd werkcertificaat dat kan worden gebruikt zonder manipulaties met het toevoegen van een testcertificaat;\n<li class=\"l\"> De verwerking van media-sets is verbeterd, waaronder de ondersteuning voor de Debian Edu-build;\n<li class=\"l\"> Ondersteuning voor braille-displays Hedo MobiLine is toegevoegd;\n<li class=\"l\"> In cryptsetup is de overstap gemaakt naar het LUKS2-schijfversleutelingsformaat (voorheen werd LUKS gebruikt);\n<li class=\"l\"> De opstartanimatie en het thema zijn vernieuwd (futureprototype);\n<li class=\"l\"> Er zijn verbeteringen aangebracht die zorgen voor herhaalbare builds;\n<li class=\"l\"> een donkere thema toegevoegd voor submenu en grub (thema=dark). Voor activatie is er een sneltoets toegevoegd \u2018d\u2019;\n<li class=\"l\"> De overdracht van de kernelparameter BOOTIF voor al ge\u00efnstalleerde systemen is stopgezet;\n<li class=\"l\"> De mogelijkheid voor het gelijktijdig gebruik van meerdere consoles tijdens de installatie is toegevoegd;\n<li class=\"l\"> Voor armhf\/efi zijn standaard GPT-partities gebruikt;\n<li class=\"l\"> Afbeeldingen voor de Novena en Banana Pi M2 Berry borden (armhf) zijn toegevoegd;\n<li class=\"l\"> Ondersteuning voor de Rock64, Banana Pi M2 Berry, Pine A64 LTS, Olimex A64 Teres-I, Raspberry Pi 1, Pi Zero en Pi 3 borden is toegevoegd.\n<li class=\"l\"> De belangrijkste modules voor het werken in paravirtualisatie zijn verplaatst van de {hyperv,virtio}-modules naar de kernel-image module.
