Het framework biedt ook ontwikkeltools die gebruikmaken van de MVC-paradigma (Model View Controller), een laag voor database-interactie, een op Lucene gebaseerde zoekmachine, internationalisatiecomponenten (I18N) en een API voor authenticatie. <\/p>\n<p>Het project is overgedragen aan de bescherming van de Linux Foundation door de bedrijven Zend Technologies en Rogue Wave Software, die een belangrijke bijdrage hebben geleverd aan de ontwikkeling ervan. De Linux Foundation wordt gezien als een neutraal platform voor de verdere ontwikkeling van Zend Framework, wat zal helpen nieuwe deelnemers bij de ontwikkeling te betrekken. De naamsverandering is gericht op het loslaten van de commerci\u00eble merkbinding met Zend ten gunste van de positionering van het framework als een door de gemeenschap ontwikkeld project. <\/p>\n<p>Het technische beleid in het nieuwe project zal worden beheerd door het Technical Steering Committee (TSC), dat is samengesteld uit leden van het Zend Framework Community Review Team. Juridische, organisatorische en financi\u00eble vragen zullen worden behandeld door de toezicht raad (Governing Board), die bestaat uit vertegenwoordigers van het TSC en deelnemende bedrijven aan het project. De ontwikkeling zal plaatsvinden op GitHub. Het wordt verwacht dat alle processen met betrekking tot de overdracht van het project naar de Linux Foundation in het derde of vierde kwartaal van dit jaar zullen zijn afgerond.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a
