Valgrind wordt ondersteund op platforms zoals Linux (X86, AMD64, ARM32, ARM64, PPC32, PPC64BE, PPC64LE, S390X, MIPS32, MIPS64), Android (ARM, ARM64, MIPS32, X86), Solaris (X86, AMD64) en macOS (AMD64).<\/p>\n<p>In <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/valgrind.org\/docs\/manual\/dist.news.html\">de nieuwe versie<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Beduidend <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.mozilla.org\/nnethercote\/2019\/04\/17\/a-better-dhat\/\">herzien<\/a><\/noindex> en uitgebreid met de heap profiling tool DHAT (Dynamic Heap Analysis Tool), <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/valgrind.org\/docs\/manual\/dh-manual.html\">die<\/a><\/noindex> Volg alle verzoeken voor geheugenallocatie in de heap en identificeer resource-lekken, gebieden met overmatige activiteit bij het werken met de heap, ongebruikte geheugenallocaties, kortetermijnallocaties en ineffici\u00ebnte gegevensplaatsing in de heap. Bovendien toont DHAT nu na het be\u00ebindigen van het gevolgd programma alleen een minimale samenvatting van de belangrijkste informatie op het scherm, terwijl het volledige rapport met profielgegevens in een bestand wordt opgeslagen. Gegevens worden nu niet meer gegroepeerd in records, maar opgeslagen in de vorm van stack trace-bomen. Het aantal metingen is uitgebreid en er zijn aanvullende categorie\u00ebn van te volgen parameters toegevoegd.
