\nHier is een kort overzicht van hoe je momenteel naar Frankrijk kunt verhuizen voor een baan in de IT: op welke visum je kunt rekenen, welk salaris je nodig hebt voor dit visum, en hoe je je cv kunt aanpassen aan de lokale tradities.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/noindex>De huidige politieke situatie.<\/b><\/p>\n

Niet uit wrok, maar louter feiten voor. (c)<\/p>\n

De situatie is momenteel zo dat alle niet-EU immigranten, ongeacht hun opleidingsniveau, worden beschouwd als kwaad dat moet worden bestreden.<\/a><\/noindex>. In de praktijk betekent dit een zeer hoog (meer dan de helft) percentage afwijzingen van visa. salari\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex> \u2014 een werkvergunning voor
\nspecialisten die niet in Frankrijk hebben gestudeerd en met een salaris van minder dan 54 brutto\/jaar (ongeveer 3.000 euro\/netto per maand, gebruik deze calculator<\/a><\/noindex> voor de conversie).
\nAls je salaris echter hoger is dan 54, val je onder de Europese overeenkomsten voor de 'blauwe kaart' (carte bleue = passeport talent emploi hautement qualifi\u00e9<\/a><\/noindex>), en je moet een werkvergunning krijgen. Bovendien maakt de blauwe kaart het veel gemakkelijker om je gezin mee te nemen. Met salari\u00e9 doe je ofwel alles synchroon \u2014 kinderen en vrouw krijgen visa samen met jou, komen op dezelfde tickets op hetzelfde moment, of je komt alleen, wacht anderhalf jaar (!), doet een vreselijk bureaucratische procedure voor regroupement familial, wacht nog eens 6-18 maanden en brengt dan pas je gezin over.
\nDaarom zullen we voortaan voor de eenvoud kijken naar verhuizing met een salaris boven 54.<\/p>\n

54 \u2014 welk niveau is dat? <\/b><\/p>\n

Het cijfer 54 is niet zomaar uit de lucht gegrepen, het is anderhalf keer het gemiddelde salaris in Frankrijk.
\nGezien het feit dat het lokale systeem neigt naar algemene gelijkheid, is anderhalf keer het gemiddelde salaris niet gering. Laten we bijvoorbeeld Glassdoor voor Google Parijs openen<\/noindex>, en zien dat het gemiddelde salaris van een Software Engineer = 58. <\/p>\n

Lokale recruiters zullen je vertellen dat 54 een senior is met 10 jaar ervaring, maar het hangt eigenlijk af van de regio en je specialisatie. Salarissen in Parijs liggen ongeveer 5-10 duizend hoger dan de salarissen in het zuiden, en salarissen in het zuiden liggen ongeveer 5 duizend boven de salarissen in centraal Frankrijk.
\nDevOps en full-stack ontwikkelaars die zeggen: \u201cik kan alles ontwikkelen met Django\/react en het op OVH draaien (lokale cloudservice, heel goedkoop en van lage kwaliteit)\u201d, evenals datawetenschappers (vooral beeld- en videoprocessing). Deze categorie\u00ebn kunnen zelfs daar 54 verdienen, en als je uit de frontend komt of bijvoorbeeld een Senior Java Finance bent, kun je beter meteen richting Parijs kijken. Dit is mijn persoonlijke indruk van de huidige lokale markt, maar de situatie verandert snel. Momenteel trekken Amerikaanse bedrijven zoals Texas Instruments en Intel zich terug uit de zuidelijke markt, terwijl oosterse giganten zoals Huawei en Hitachi hun aanwezigheid juist uitbreiden. Deze effecten samen drijven de salarissen in het zuiden omhoog. Tegelijkertijd komen Facebook en Apple naar Parijs, wat de salarissen daar verhoogt \u2014 nu kun je van Google naar Facebook gaan, terwijl men voorheen de salarisverhoging bij Google via een complexe strategie \u201cvan Google weggaan \u2014 eigen startup oprichten \u2014 terug naar Google\u201d moest aanpakken.
\nMaar dit is al lyrisch, een overzicht van salarissen en hoe ze stijgen kan ik apart maken als dat interessant is.<\/p>\n

Wat zet je in je cv?<\/b><\/p>\n

Je gaat naar een niet-politiek correcte en intolerante landen \u2014 dat moet je meteen begrijpen.
\nBijvoorbeeld: de hashtag #MeToo is bijna overal ter wereld op een vergelijkbare manier vertaald (#\u044f\u041d\u0435\u0411\u043e\u044e\u0441\u044c\u0421\u043a\u0430\u0437\u0430\u0442\u044c in Rusland, #MoiAussi = \u201cik ook\u201d in Canada), behalve in Frankrijk. In Frankrijk is het gelocaliseerd als #BalanceTonPorc = \u201cgeef je varken aan\u201d (moeilijk te vertalen, eigenlijk, er zijn veel niet-politiek correcte betekenissen). <\/p>\n

Dus als je een blanke man bent, moet je een foto aan je cv toevoegen \u2014 dat zal in je voordeel werken. <\/p>\n

Als je opleiding niet Frans is en niet relevant, gooi dit onderdeel dan gewoon uit je cv.
\nAls je CS hebt \u2014 schrijf het zo op dat het duidelijk is dat het CS is. <\/p>\n

Wat betreft projecten \u2014 schrijf geen zinnen als \u201c2016-2018 NaamBank \/ DevOps: Prometheus, Grafana, AWS\u201d.

My personal experience says that one should move for studies<\/a><\/noindex>, if with a wife \u2014 then on two student visas, meaning both register for studies.
\nThus, it\u2019s easier for you to find work (after obtaining a master's degree, a visa is automatically granted that allows you to live and work in France for 1 year, which greatly facilitates job searching, because you are on-site, can start tomorrow + French education), the time to obtain a European passport is reduced to about 3 years (from 6 years when moving for work), and you have a priceless year to calmly learn the language in the environment (it is indeed very necessary, but it is easier to learn in an environment to reach B1 = minimum conversational level in about six months).<\/p>\n

Regarding the wife \u2014 I am often asked in private messages what if I come on a student visa, and the wife does not want to work or study. One option is to enroll the wife in studies and let her \u2018study\u2019 while remaining in the second\/third\/fourth year until you find a job, and then together apply for citizenship and receive it after a year. This is often done by guys from Algeria and Tunisia, for example. The problem in this case is purely financial \u2014 it will be hard to buy an apartment + travel + have 2 cars for the family, but living in rental housing + traveling + 1 car is totally manageable. The difficulty lies in the sense that for one person to earn a salary equivalent to two developer salaries in IT, one needs to be the boss of about 50-100 people, or to find a very specific niche in Eastern companies \u2014 see above about data scientists, or for example, having basic conversational Chinese has recently become a big plus. <\/p>\n
