Standaard wordt het algoritme aes-256-ccm gebruikt. Sleutels voor de dataset worden beheerd met het commando 'zfs load-key' en aanverwante subcommando's.<\/noindex>\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zfsonlinux\/zfs\/pull\/5769\">Encryptie bij zfs send\/receive.<\/a> Stelt in staat om back-ups op onbetrouwbare diensten te bewaren zonder het risico van compromittering.\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zfsonlinux\/zfs\/pull\/6900\">Verwijderen van een apparaat<\/a> uit de pool via het commando 'zpool remove'. Alle gegevens worden op de achtergrond gekopieerd naar de resterende bovenliggende apparaten, en de capaciteit van de pool neemt dienovereenkomstig af.\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zfsonlinux\/zfs\/pull\/7570\">Het subcommando 'zpool checkpoint'<\/a> stelt je in staat om de volledige status van de pool op te slaan en, indien gewenst, terug te keren naar deze exacte toestand. Dit kan worden gezien als een uitgebreide snapshot van de pool. Trim kan worden uitgevoerd als een apart commando 'zpool trim', of de optie discard kan worden ingeschakeld \u2014 een nieuwe eigenschap van de pool 'autotrim'\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zfsonlinux\/zfs\/pull\/8230\">Initieel van de pool.<\/a> Het subcommando 'zpool initialize' schrijft zijn patroon in alle onverdeelbare ruimte. Dit verhelpt de eerste prestatievermindering die kan bestaan in sommige gevirtualiseerde opslagsystemen (bijv. VMware VMDK).\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zfsonlinux\/zfs\/pull\/6290\">Ondersteuning voor projectaccounting en quotas<\/a>. Nieuwe python-bibliotheek voor het bieden van een stabiele interface voor programmatisch beheer van ZFS. Deze wrapper zorgt voor een een-op-een mapping van de functies van de API libzfs_core, maar de signaturen en typen zijn natuurlijker voor de Python-dialect.\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zfsonlinux\/zfs\/pull\/8096\">Compatibiliteit met Python3<\/a>. De hulpprogramma's 'arcstat', 'arcsummary' en 'dbufstat' zijn bijgewerkt voor compatibiliteit met Python3.\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zfsonlinux\/zfs\/pull\/7823\">Direct IO<\/a>.
