De reden voor de standaard uitschakeling is het verkorten van de opstarttijd van de browser. Wijzigingen via userContent.css en userChrome.css worden door gebruikers zelden uitgevoerd, en het laden van CSS-gegevens verbruikt extra middelen (optimalisatie verwijdert onnodige schijftoegang). <\/p>\n<p>Om de ondersteuning voor userChrome.css en userContent.css in about:config opnieuw in te schakelen, is de instelling \"toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets\" toegevoegd aan about:config.<br \/>\nDe wijziging is gepland voor release in Firefox 69, die op 3 september verwacht wordt. In Firefox 68 zal bovendien een controle worden toegevoegd die automatisch de optie \"toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets\" inschakelt als er een van de eerder genoemde bestanden in de profielmap aanwezig is. Hierdoor hoeven gebruikers die al userChrome.css of userContent.css gebruiken geen handmatige wijzigingen aan te brengen.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
