Lockwise omvat mobiele applicaties voor Android en iOS voor toegang tot opgeslagen wachtwoorden in de Firefox-browser op elk apparaat, zonder dat Firefox op die apparaten hoeft te worden ge\u00efnstalleerd. De brontekst van het project <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla-lockwise\">wordt verspreid<\/a> onder MPL 2.0-licentie.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex><br \/>\n<noindex><\/p>\n<p>Voor het synchroniseren van wachtwoorden worden de ingebouwde mogelijkheden van de Firefox-browser en een account op Firefox Account gebruikt. Lockwise verbindt zich met de synchronisatie als verschillende instanties van de browser. Voor gegevensbescherming wordt AES-256-GCM gebruikt, met sleutels op basis van PBKDF2 en HKDF met SHA-256-hashing; sleutels worden overgedragen via het protocol <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla\/fxa-auth-server\/wiki\/onepw-protocol\">Onepw<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><br \/>\n<noindex><\/p>\n<p>Naast mobiele applicaties wordt op dit moment <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla-lockwise\/lockwise-addon\">een browserextensie ontwikkeld die een alternatief biedt voor de ingebouwde interface voor wachtwoordbeheer.
