Voor de download  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/openmandriva\/files\/release\/4.0\/\">wordt aangeboden<\/a><\/noindex> Live-build van 2,6 GB (x86_64 en de &#171;znver1&#187; build, geoptimaliseerd voor AMD Ryzen, ThreadRipper en EPYC-processors). <\/p>\n<p>De release van OpenMandriva Lx 4 is opmerkelijk door de overstap naar de pakketbeheerder <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/rpm.org\/\">RPMv4<\/a><\/noindex>, de commandoregelhulpmiddelen  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=46440\">DNF<\/a><\/noindex> en de grafische interface voor pakketbeheer Dnfdragora. Eerder gebruikte het project een afzonderlijk ontwikkelde tak  <noindex>RPMv5<\/noindex>, de urpmi-hulpmiddelen en de GUI rpmdrake. RPMv4 wordt ondersteund door Red Hat en wordt gebruikt in distributies zoals Fedora, RHEL, openSUSE en SUSE. De tak <noindex>RPMv5<\/noindex> is ontwikkeld door externe enthousiastelingen en verkeert al vele jaren in stagnatie \u2014 de laatste stabiele release <noindex>RPMv5<\/noindex> werd in 2010 gemaakt, waarna de ontwikkeling stopte. In tegenstelling tot RPMv5, ontwikkelt en onderhoudt het project RPMv4 actief, en biedt het een completer pakket beheer- en repository-hulpmiddelenpakket. De overstap naar RPMv4 zal ook helpen om de momenteel gebruikte ongepaste hacks en hulpprogramma's in Perl in OpenMandriva te elimineren.<\/p>\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.openmandriva.org\/IMG\/jpg\/omlx4.0_kinfocenter.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Release of the OpenMandriva Lx 4 distribution \" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/94ecc1b5b5dc0ecce1a0adffce7714d3.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Andere <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.openmandriva.org\/en\/4.0\/Release_Notes\">wijzigingen<\/a><\/noindex> in OpenMandriva Lx 4:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> De Clang-compiler die wordt gebruikt voor het bouwen van pakketten, is bijgewerkt naar de LLVM 8.0.1-tak. Er is een controle toegevoegd voor installaties in een VirtualBox-omgeving \u2014 als echte hardware wordt gebruikt, worden de hulppakketten voor virtualbox verwijderd.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Poorten zijn voorbereid voor de architecturen aarch64 (Raspberry Pi 3 en DragonBoard 410c) en armv7hnl.
