One notable behavioral change is the requirement to use the Shift+Del or Shift+BackSpace combinations (it used to work without Shift) to delete history entries from the suggestions displayed when typing begins. <\/p>\n

In the future, a gradual modernization of the address bar's appearance is expected. Mockups are already available that reflect some ideas for further development. The main changes focus on refining details and improving usability. For instance, it is proposed to increase the size of the address bar during focus, displaying suggestions as input occurs in a block adjusted to this size, rather than using the full width of the screen.<\/noindex>In the suggested results displayed as typing progresses, the text not entered by the user will be highlighted, rather than the proposed part of the search query. Firefox will also remember the state of the address bar when typing and restore it after shifting focus away from the address bar (for example, the list of recommendations used to disappear after temporarily switching to another tab, but now it will be restored upon return). Pop-up explanations for the icons of additional search engines are also proposed.
