Het project is gestart door een groep ontwikkelaars uit China, maar heeft zich ontwikkeld tot een internationaal project. De distributie ondersteunt de Russische taal. Alle ontwikkelingen <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/linuxdeepin\">worden verspreid<\/a><\/noindex> vallen onder de GPLv3-licentie. De grootte van de bootimage <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.deepin.org\/en\/download\/\">van het iso-image<\/a><\/noindex> is 2,3 GB (amd64).<\/p>\n<p>Componenten van de desktop en applicaties <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/linuxdeepin\/dde-desktop\">meer dan tien tools ontwikkeld (schema 1).
