NumPy is een van de meest gevraagde bibliotheken die wordt gebruikt voor wetenschappelijke berekeningen. De projectcode is geschreven in Python met optimalisaties in C. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/numpy\/numpy\/\">wordt verspreid<\/a><\/noindex> onder de BSD-licentie.<\/p>\n<p>Uitgave van NumPy 1.17 <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/numpy\/numpy\/blob\/master\/doc\/release\/1.17.0-notes.rst\">is opmerkelijk<\/a><\/noindex> met optimalisaties die de prestaties van bepaalde bewerkingen aanzienlijk verbeteren en de ondersteuning voor Python 2.7 stopzetten. Voor gebruik is nu Python 3.5-3.7 vereist.
