Totdat deze nieuwe voorwaarden zijn aanvaard, wordt de toegang tot de webinterface en de Web API geblokkeerd. De wijziging gaat in met de release van <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/about.gitlab.com\/blog\/2019\/10\/22\/gitlab-12-4-released\/\">GitLab 12.4<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p>Een belangrijk wijziging in de voorwaarden is de vermelding van het opnemen van code voor het verzamelen van telemetrie op de pagina's van cloudservices en commerci\u00eble producten van GitLab. Daarbij is vastgesteld dat de telemetrie niet alleen naar de servers van GitLab kan worden verzonden, maar ook naar externe analysetools. Het is ook expliciet toegestaan om eigendom JavaScript-code voor het verzamelen van telemetrie op te nemen, verkregen van externe leveranciers zoals <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pendo.io\/product\/features\/product-analytics\/\">Pendo<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p>De inzet van telemetrie heeft geen invloed op de repository <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.com\/gitlab-org\/gitlab\/\">GitLab Core<\/a><\/noindex> en de beperkte open Community-editie van GitLab, die bedoeld is voor de implementatie van infrastructuur voor
