De release is gebaseerd op de Debian-pakketbasis met verbeteringen van het antiX-project en verschillende eigen applicaties die het instellen en installeren van software vergemakkelijken. Standaard wordt de Xfce-desktop aangeboden. Voor <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mxlinux.org\/download-links\">download<\/a><\/noindex> zijn 32- en 64-bit builds beschikbaar, met een grootte van 1.4 GB (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/downloads.sourceforge.net\/mx-linux\/MX-19_x64.iso\">x86_64<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/downloads.sourceforge.net\/mx-linux\/MX-19_386.iso\">i386<\/a><\/noindex>).<\/p>\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mxlinux.org\/mx19-features\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Uitgave van de distributie MX Linux 19\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/1cbec19766bcc8135361d46c47a919e5.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<p>In de nieuwe release is de pakketbasis bijgewerkt naar Debian 10 (buster) met het lenen van enkele pakketten uit de recente repositories van antiX en MX. De desktop is bijgewerkt naar Xfce 4.14. De versies van de applicaties zijn bijgewerkt, inclusief GIMP 2.10.12, Mesa 18.3.6, Linux-kernel 4.19, VLC 3.0.8, Clementine 1.3.1, Thunderbird 60.9.0, LibreOffice 6.1.5 (via mx-packageinstaller is ook LibreOffice 6.3 uit de backports beschikbaar).<\/p>\n<p>In de installer mx-installer (gebaseerd op <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/gazelle-installer\">gazelle-installer<\/a><\/noindex>) zijn problemen met automatisch mounten en partitioneren van de schijf opgelost. Een nieuwe klokwidget, de applicatie formatusb voor het formatteren van USB-opslagschijven en de bash-config utility voor het aanpassen van de commandoregelinterface zijn toegevoegd. Het pakket mx-alerts is ge\u00efmplementeerd om dringende meldingen naar gebruikers te sturen.<\/p>\n<p> De wallpapers van de desktop zijn bijgewerkt (mx19-artwork). In mx-boot-repair is ondersteuning toegevoegd voor het herstellen van de bootloader bij gebruik van versleutelde partities. In de Live-build is een tekstbootlogo toegevoegd en een fallback-modus voor de X-server gerealiseerd voor het geval de grafische sessie niet kan worden geactiveerd.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a
