Onder NGINX Unit kunnen meerdere applicaties in verschillende programmeertalen tegelijkertijd draaien, waarvan de uitvoeringsparameters dynamisch kunnen worden gewijzigd zonder dat het configuratiebestanden hoeft te worden aangepast of opnieuw te worden gestart. De code is geschreven in de programmeertaal C en <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/nginx\/unit\">wordt verspreid<\/a><\/noindex> under Apache 2.0 license.
