Overtollige headerbestanden zijn verwijderd. De code voor ondersteuning van Intel-chipsets is ge\u00fcnificeerd, gangbare functies zijn in gemeenschappelijke drivers geplaatst;\n<li class=\"l\"> Er is veel werk verzet om de ondersteuning voor Intel-chips op basis van de Kaby Lake en Cannon Lake microarchitecturen, evenals de AMD Picasso-serie, te verbeteren. De ondersteuning voor de ARM-chip Mediatek 8173, RISC-V-architectuurchips en sommige oudere chipsets, zoals Intel GM45 en Via VX900, is verbeterd. Initi\u00eble ondersteuning voor Intel Tiger Lake-chips en de Qualcomm SC7180 SoC is voorgesteld;\n<li class=\"l\"> De ondersteuning voor de geverifieerde opstartmodus (vboot), die door Google in Chromebook-apparaten wordt toegepast, is verbeterd. Geverifieerde opstart kan nu ook worden gebruikt met apparaten die niet speciaal voor vboot zijn aangepast. Zo is ondersteuning voor opstartverificatie toegevoegd voor verschillende Lenovo-laptops, industri\u00eble computers van Siemens en systemen van het project <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opencompute.org\/\">Open Compute<\/a><\/noindex>. Het werk aan het toevoegen van meetbare opstarttechnologie (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/desktop\/w8cookbook\/measured-boot\">Measured boot<\/a><\/noindex>);\n<li class=\"l\"> is gestopt met de ondersteuning voor verouderde SoC gebaseerde op de Allwinner A10-processor, bijvoorbeeld de ondersteuning voor het Cubieboard is be\u00ebindigd;\n<li class=\"l\"> De ondersteuning voor de MIPS-architectuur en de 12h generatie AMD-chips (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/AGESA\">AGESA<\/a><\/noindex>);\n<li class=\"l\"> In <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coreboot.org\/Libpayload\">libpayload<\/a><\/noindex> heeft ondersteuning voor USB3-hubs gegarandeerd.\n<li class=\"l\"> In de bibliotheek <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/doc.coreboot.org\/gfx\/libgfxinit.html\">libgfxinit<\/a><\/noindex>, verantwoordelijk voor de initialisatie van het grafische subsysteem, is dynamische aanpassing van CDClk (Core Display Clock) ge\u00efmplementeerd om schermen met hoge resolutie zonder statische instelling van de instellingen te ondersteunen. De compatibiliteit met DP en eDP-poorten is verbeterd (bijvoorbeeld is ondersteuning voor DisplayPort toegevoegd voor Intel-chips Ibex Peak met GPU Ironlake).
