De distributie bevat utiliteiten die kunnen worden gebruikt voor het testen van netwerken, het verkrijgen van ongeoorloofde toegang tot gegevens of netwerkdiensten, en het verstoren van hun werking. De distributie kan ook nuttig zijn voor het onderzoeken van beveiligingsinbreuken op al gecompromitteerde en verdachte systemen.<\/p>\n<p>Er is een versie van de distributie voor arm-apparaten en Android-apparaten (ge\u00efnstalleerd en uitgevoerd met behulp van Linux Deploy).<\/p>\n<p>Nieuw in Kali Linux 2019.4:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Xfce is de standaard werkomgeving van de distributie geworden.<\/li>\n<li> Een nieuw GTK 3-thema voor Gnome en Xfce.<\/li>\n<li> De OS-kern is bijgewerkt naar versie 5.3.9.<\/li>\n<li> De modus 'Undercover' - in deze modus lijkt de grafische interface van het besturingssysteem op de interface van Windows 10.<\/li>\n<li> De documentatie van de distributie is vertaald naar de Markdown opmaaktaal en is beschikbaar op <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.com\/kalilinux\/documentation\/kali-docs\">GitLab<\/a>. De documentatie bevat beschrijvingen van procedures voor het cre\u00ebren van eigen pakketten voor de distributie, evenals eigen builds van Kali Linux. Er is een handleiding toegevoegd voor de installatie van het OS met gebruik van BTRFS voor het rootbestandssysteem. <\/li>\n<li> De pakketten van de distributie bevatten PowerShell. <\/li>\n<li> NetHunter Kex - de mogelijkheid om mobiele apparaten met OS Android te gebruiken als werkstations met Kali Linux. Het enige wat je hoeft te doen is het mobiele apparaat aan te sluiten op een weergave-apparaat, een Bluetooth-toetsenbord en muis - en je hebt een volwaardig alternatief voor een pc met Kali Linux.
