Een recent voorbeeld is de overdracht van de Intel AIB-bus aan de CHIPS Alliance.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Intel trad toe tot de CHIPS Alliance en bracht de Advanced Interface Bus de wereld in.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/c7ecca3d1a95832cc24bbbcae03589fb.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Deze week heeft Intel <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.anandtech.com\/show\/15434\/intel-joins-chips-alliance-contributes-advanced-interface-bus\" target=\"_blank\">zich aangesloten bij de CHIPS Alliance<\/a><\/noindex>&nbsp;(Common Hardware for Interfaces, Processors and Systems). Zoals de uitleg van het acroniem CHIPS aangeeft, werkt dit industri\u00eble consortium aan de ontwikkeling van een scala aan open oplossingen voor SoC's en hoge-dichtheid chipverpakkingen, bijvoorbeeld SiP (system-in-packages).<\/p>\n<p>Als lid van de alliantie heeft Intel de door hen ontwikkelde bus <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/3dnews.ru\/990495\" target=\"_blank\">Advanced Interface Bus<\/a><\/noindex> (AIB) aan de gemeenschap geschonken. Uiteraard niet uit puur altru\u00efsme: hoewel de AIB-bus het mogelijk maakt om effici\u00ebnte inter-chip interfaces te cre\u00ebren zonder royalty's aan Intel te betalen, hoopt het bedrijf ook de populariteit van eigen chiplets te verhogen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Intel trad toe tot de CHIPS Alliance en bracht de Advanced Interface Bus de wereld in.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/38603a4fd54673483b37e87175219743.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De AIB-bus is ontwikkeld door Intel onder een programma van het DARPA-agentschap. De Amerikaanse strijdkrachten zijn al lang ge\u00efnteresseerd in hoog-ge\u00efntegreerde logica, bestaande uit meerdere chips. De eerste generatie van de AIB-bus werd in 2017 gepresenteerd. De overdrachtssnelheid bereikte toen 2 Gbit\/s per lijn. De tweede generatie van de AIB-bus werd vorig jaar ge\u00efntroduceerd. De overdrachtssnelheid steeg naar 5,4 Gbit\/s. Bovendien biedt de AIB-bus de beste snelheid-dichtheid in de industrie: 200 Gbit\/s per mm. Dit is een cruciale parameter voor multi-chip verpakkingen.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Het is belangrijk op te merken dat de AIB-bus ongevoelig is voor het fabricageproces en de verpakkingsmethode. Ze kan worden ge\u00efmplementeerd in zowel de ruimtelijke multi-chip verpakking Intel EMIB, als in de unieke verpakking TSMC CoWoS of in verpakkingen van andere bedrijven. Dit is de Open Domain-Specific Architecture (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/3dnews.ru\/1000922\" target=\"_blank\">ODSA<\/a><\/noindex>).
