De distributie is gebaseerd op de codebasis van FreeBSD, biedt ge\u00efntegreerde ondersteuning voor ZFS en kan worden beheerd via een webinterface, opgebouwd met het Python-framework Django. Voor de toegang tot de opslag worden FTP, NFS, Samba, AFP, rsync en iSCSI ondersteund, en voor een verhoogde opslagbetrouwbaarheid kan software RAID (0,1,5) worden toegepast. Voor klantauthenticatie is er ondersteuning voor LDAP\/Active Directory. De installatie <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/download.freenas.org\/11.3\/STABLE\/RELEASE\/x64\/\">iso-afbeelding<\/a><\/noindex> (780 MB) is voorbereid voor de x86_64-architectuur. <\/p>\n<p>Belangrijkste <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ixsystems.com\/blog\/library\/freenas-11-3-release\/\">wijzigingen<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> De dat replicatie-engine in ZFS is herontworpen. De replicatieprestaties zijn acht keer verbeterd. Ondersteuning voor automatisch hervatten van onderbroken gegevensoverdracht sessies is toegevoegd, evenals parallelle uitvoering van taken en lokale replicatie.\n<li class=\"l\"> ACL Manager toegevoegd \u2014 een webinterface voor het configureren en beheren van toegangscontrolelijsten in SMB-share's;\n<li class=\"l\"> Voor nieuwe SMB-share's is standaard de module SMB Shadow Copy geactiveerd, die back-ups maakt met behulp van het ZFS-snapshot systeem. Gemaakt back-ups van bestanden kunnen worden bekeken in het tabblad \u2018Vorige versies\u2019 in de bestandsbeheerder;\n<li class=\"l\"> Ondersteuning voor het gebruik van quotas voor SMB, gedefinieerd in Active Directory, is toegevoegd.\n<li class=\"l\"> De \u2018Community plugins\u2019 repository is in gebruik genomen, met plugins die zijn voorbereid door leden van de gemeenschap en officieel niet worden ondersteund door iXsystems;\n<li class=\"l\"> De iSCSI Wizard is toegevoegd, die het cre\u00ebren van nieuwe iSCSI-doelen vereenvoudigt.\n<li class=\"l\"> De monitorinterface is herwerkt, waarbij waarschuwingen zijn gegroepeerd op type in plaats van alfabetisch. Mogelijkheid om drempelwaarden in te stellen voor het genereren van waarschuwingen is toegevoegd. Er is een nieuw type permanente kritische waarschuwingen ge\u00efntroduceerd, die actief blijven totdat handmatig gesloten. Voor het periodiek uitvoeren van handlers is een nieuw framework Alert ingezet.\n<li class=\"l\"> De Dashboard interface is herschreven, die nu een samenvattend rapport biedt van de huidige systeemstatus, netwerkactiviteit, CPU-belasting en geheugengebruik.<br \/>\n<center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/static.ixsystems.co\/uploads\/2020\/01\/TrueNAS-11.3-Photo-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Release van de distributie voor het cre\u00ebren van netwerkopslag FreeNAS 11.3 \" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/afe38b720d7e1f0093e37a0df9a292e6.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Er is de mogelijkheid geboden om address translators te gebruiken voor het draaien van plugins, zonder dat elke plugin zijn eigen IP-adres hoeft te krijgen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Er is een nieuwe REST API voorgesteld die Websocket ondersteunt en dezelfde handlers gebruikt als de webinterface. De API kan worden gebruikt voor het beheren van FreeNAS vanuit scripts en voor integratie met externe platforms. Een API is toegevoegd voor het opslaan en auditen van configuratiebestanden;\n<li class=\"l\"> Een wizard voor de configuratie van grote ZFS-pools is toegevoegd, die een groot aantal schijven bestrijkt. De voorgestelde interface maakt het mogelijk om het klonen van de VDEV-indeling over alle schijven te automatiseren;\n<li class=\"l\"> De ZFS-prestaties zijn geoptimaliseerd voor verschillende soorten belasting;\n<li class=\"l\"> Eenvoudigere configuratiewizards voor SMB, netwerkparameters en replicatie zijn voorgesteld;\n<li class=\"l\"> Ondersteuning voor VPN WireGuard is ge\u00efmplementeerd;\n<li class=\"l\"> Vertalingen zijn bijgewerkt naar het Tsjechisch, Frans, Japans, Russisch en vereenvoudigd Chinees.
