Firefox Preview  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/hacks.mozilla.org\/2019\/06\/geckoview-in-2019\/\">gebruikt<\/a><\/noindex> heeft de GeckoView-engine, gebouwd op basis van de Firefox Quantum-technologie, en een set bibliotheken <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mozilla-mobile.github.io\/android-components\/\">Mozilla Android Components<\/a><\/noindex>, die al worden gebruikt voor het bouwen van browsers <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=49823\">Firefox Focus<\/a><\/noindex> en <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=49541\">Firefox Lite<\/a><\/noindex>. GeckoView is een variant van de Gecko-engine, gepresenteerd als een aparte bibliotheek die onafhankelijk kan worden bijgewerkt, en Android Components omvat bibliotheken met standaardcomponenten voor tabs, autocompletie van invoer, zoeksuggesties en andere browserfunctionaliteiten. Binnenkort zal de release worden gepubliceerd in de catalogus <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=org.mozilla.fenix\">Google Play<\/a><\/noindex> (voor gebruik is Android 5 of nieuwer vereist)<\/p>\n<p>In de release van Firefox Preview 4.0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Een initi\u00eble mogelijkheid voor het verbinden van add-ons op basis van de WebExtension API is toegevoegd. In het menu is er een optie &#171;Add-ons Manager&#187; verschenen, waarin de beschikbare add-ons voor installatie worden weergegeven. In de huidige versie bevat de lijst met compatibele add-ons voor Firefox Preview voorlopig alleen uBlock Origin.\n<li class=\"l\"> Op de startpagina worden eerder bezochte sites getoond (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla-mobile\/fenix\/issues\/6190\">Top Sites<\/a><\/noindex>), die worden samengesteld op basis van historie.
