In welke gevallen moet je deze gebruiken, en wanneer niet?<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" name=\"habracut\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"budem-chestny\">Laten we eerlijk zijn<\/h2>\n<p>Voor de meesten van ons is de terminal niet echt nodig. We zijn gewend dat we met een muisklik op alles kunnen klikken en iets kunnen activeren. We hebben geen zin om iets open te maken en commando's ergens in te voeren. We willen functionaliteit hier en nu. De meeste mensen gebruiken de terminal helemaal niet. Moet je deze \u00fcberhaupt gebruiken?<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"pochemu-ispolzovat-terminal-nuzhno\">Waarom je de terminal zou moeten gebruiken?<\/h2>\n<p>Het is handig. Je hoeft niet tussen meerdere vensters te schakelen, op zoek naar iets met de muis. Je kunt gewoon het benodigde commando intikken.<br \/>\nLaten we de situaties opsommen waarin de terminal <strong>nodig is<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wanneer je iets wilt inschakelen, maar geen tijd hebt om het in de instellingen te zoeken (Hallo, GUI dconf)<\/li>\n<li>Wanneer het eenvoudiger is om een bestand of map in de terminal te vinden dan tijd te verspillen aan de GUI (fzf doet dit goed)<\/li>\n<li>Wanneer het sneller is om een bestand te bewerken in Vim, Neovim, Nano, Micro dan het in een IDE te doen<\/li>\n<li>Wanneer je <em>van<\/em> de terminal nodig hebt (zoals het resetten van instellingen in Ubuntu of het installeren van Arch Linux, bijvoorbeeld)<\/li>\n<li>Wanneer snelheid belangrijker is dan kwaliteit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wanneer <strong>je de terminal niet moet<\/strong> gebruiken:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wanneer deze functionaliteit niet beschikbaar is in de terminal (dit komt zelden voor, maar het gebeurt wel)<\/li>\n<li>Wanneer het gemakkelijker is om dit in de GUI te doen dan je te vervelen met een TUI (zoals tijdens het debuggen van programma's)<\/li>\n<li>Wanneer je niet echt weet wat je in de terminal moet doen, maar snel iets moet doen (je verliest waarschijnlijk meer tijd aan automatisering dan aan de handeling zelf, dit komt velen bekend voor)<\/li>\n<li>Wanneer gebruiksgemak belangrijker is dan snelheid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dit zijn de belangrijkste regels die je niet moet vergeten. Het lijkt eenvoudig, maar de neiging om te denken 'laten we alles automatiseren, in plaats van twee keer te klikken met de muis' komt vaak op de voorgrond. Mensen zijn lui, maar dat is niet altijd in hun voordeel.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"delaem-sam-terminal-zhiznesposobnym\">Laten we de terminal functioneel maken<\/h2>\n<p>Hier is mijn minimale set om iets goed te kunnen doen in de terminal:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tmux<\/strong> \u2014 om het venster in panelen te splitsen (als je een hoop terminalvensters opent en lange tijd tussen hen schakelt, dan heeft het hele idee geen zin; het is gemakkelijker om tussen GUI-applicaties te schakelen)<\/p>\n<p><strong>fzf<\/strong> \u2014 om snel iets te vinden. Dit is echt sneller dan via de GUI. vim  en kies de bestandsnaam en dat is alles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>zsh<\/strong> \u2014 (specifieker OhMyZsh) de terminal moet gebruiksvriendelijk zijn en niet schreeuwerig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>neovim<\/strong> \u2014 omdat de betekenis van het verblijven in de terminal zonder hem praktisch verloren gaat. Een editor die veel meer kan dan GUI-applicaties.<\/p>\n<p>En bovendien een enorm aantal andere applicaties: ranger (of ViFM), how2, live-server, nmcli, xrandr, python3, jshell, diff, git en meer.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a-kakoy-smysl\">En wat is de betekenis?<\/h2>\n<p>Bedenk zelf, als je een volledige IDE probeert te laden om een klein scriptje te wijzigen \u2014 dat is irrationeel. Het is makkelijker om het snel in Vim (of Nano, voor degenen die Vim-notatie niet leuk vinden) te wijzigen. Je kunt dingen sneller doen, maar je hoeft niet alles te leren wat er in de terminal is.
