De offici\u00eble release is gepland voor midden april van dit jaar. In het kader van de release worden de volgende distributieversies uitgebracht:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fedora Workstation<\/li>\n<li>Fedora Server<\/li>\n<li>Fedora Silverblue<\/li>\n<li>Live-builds met desktopomgevingen KDE Plasma 5, Xfce, MATE, Cinnamon, LXDE en LXQt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fedora<\/strong> \u2014 een distributie <strong>Linux<\/strong>, gesponsord door het bedrijf <strong>Red Hat<\/strong> en bevat mogelijkheden die in de toekomst worden overwogen voor gebruik in de distributie <strong>Red Hat Enterprise Linux<\/strong>. Het doel van het project is het bouwen van een volledige besturingssysteem uit vrije software door de gemeenschap in de geest van het Red Hat Linux-ecosysteem. Versies worden elke 6-8 maanden uitgebracht volgens een openbaar schema.<\/p>\n<p>Veranderingen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voor een vroegtijdige reactie op geheugenissues is in de werkstationsassemblages nu standaard ingeschakeld <strong>earlyoom<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Voor het verminderen van de slijtage van SSD-schijven is standaard ingeschakeld <strong>systemd-timer fstrim.timer<\/strong>, het starten van fstrim.service om het commando \/usr\/sbin\/fstrim \u2014fstab \u2014verbose \u2014quiet uit te voeren, dat de opslagapparaten informatie geeft over ongebruikte blokken<\/li>\n<li><strong>GNOME<\/strong> bijgewerkt naar versie <strong>3.36<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Python 2<\/strong> verwijderd vanwege het verstrijken van zijn \u00ablevensduur\u00bb. Voor degenen die het toch nodig hebben, zal een pakket python27 worden voorbereid, waaraan alle benodigde modules in de modus \u00aballes inbegrepen\u00bb zullen worden toegevoegd<\/li>\n<li>Assemblages zijn gemaakt met behulp van GCC 10.<\/li>\n<li>Verschillende pakketversies zijn bijgewerkt:\n<ul>\n<li>Glibc 2.31<\/li>\n<li>Binutils 2.33<\/li>\n<li>LLVM
