De ondersteuning voor de nieuwe tak zal vijf jaar duren, tot juni 2025. <\/p>\n<p>De ontwikkeling van MariaDB wordt geleid door de onafhankelijke organisatie MariaDB Foundation volgens een volledig open en transparant ontwikkelingsproces, onafhankelijk van specifieke leveranciers. MariaDB wordt in plaats van MySQL geleverd in veel Linux-distributies (RHEL, SUSE, Fedora, openSUSE, Slackware, OpenMandriva, ROSA, Arch Linux, Debian) en is ge\u00efntegreerd in grote projecten zoals <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=36759\">Wikipedia<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=37905\">Google Cloud SQL<\/a><\/noindex> en <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=36506\">Nimbuzz<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p>Belangrijkste <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mariadb.com\/kb\/en\/mdb-1054-rn\/\">verbeteringen<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mariadb.com\/kb\/en\/changes-improvements-in-mariadb-105\/\">MariaDB 10.5<\/a><\/noindex>:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Een opslagmotor is toegevoegd <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mariadb.com\/kb\/en\/s3-storage-engine\/\">S3<\/a><\/noindex>, waardoor het mogelijk is om MariaDB-tabellen op Amazon S3 of een andere publieke of private cloudopslag die S3 API ondersteunt, te hosten. Zowel gewone als gepartitioneerde tabellen worden ondersteund bij het hosten in S3. Gepartitioneerde tabellen kunnen rechtstreeks worden gebruikt vanaf een andere server die toegang heeft tot de S3-opslag.\n<li class=\"l\"> Een opslagmotor is toegevoegd <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mariadb.com\/kb\/en\/mariadb-columnstore\/\">ColumnStore<\/a><\/noindex>, die gegevens op kolombasis opslaat en gebruikt <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%9C%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%81%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BE-%D0%BF%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%85%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%82%D1%83%D1%80%D0%B0\">massaal parallelle<\/a><\/noindex> gedistribueerde architectuur. De motor is gebaseerd op de technologie\u00ebn van MySQL-opslag <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=25267\">InfiniDB<\/a><\/noindex> en is bedoeld voor het organiseren van de verwerking en uitvoering van analytische queries over grote hoeveelheden gegevens (Data Warehouse).<br \/>\nColumnStore slaat gegevens niet regel voor regel op, maar kolomgewijs, wat het mogelijk maakt om het groeperen op kolommen in grote databases met petabytes aan gegevens te optimaliseren. Lineaire schaling, opslag van gegevens in gecomprimeerde vorm, verticale en horizontale partitionering en effici\u00ebnte uitvoering van concurrerende queries worden ondersteund.<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Alle uitvoerbare bestanden die beginnen met het woord &#171;mysql&#187; zijn omgedoopt naar &#171;mariadb&#187;. De oude namen zijn bewaard als symbolische links.\n<li class=\"l\"> Een nieuw gegevenstype is toegevoegd <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mariadb.com\/kb\/en\/inet6\/\">INET6<\/a><\/noindex> voor het opslaan van IPv6-adressen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Er is gewerkt aan het splitsen van privileges in kleinere componenten. In plaats van de algemene privilegie SUPER is een reeks van specifieke privileges voorgesteld zoals &#171;BINLOG ADMIN&#187;,<br \/>\n    &#171;BINLOG REPLAY&#187;,<br \/>\n    &#171;CONNECTION ADMIN&#187;,<br \/>\n    &#171;FEDERATED ADMIN&#187;,<br \/>\n    &#171;READ_ONLY ADMIN&#187;,<br \/>\n    &#171;REPLICATION MASTER ADMIN&#187;,<br \/>\n    &#171;REPLICATION SLAVE ADMIN&#187; en<br \/>\n    &#171;SET USER&#187;. <\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Het privilege &#171;REPLICATION CLIENT&#187; is hernoemd naar &#171;BINLOG MONITOR&#187;, en de uitdrukking &#171;SHOW MASTER STATUS&#187; naar &#171;SHOW BINLOG STATUS&#187;. De hernoeming verduidelijkt het gedrag en is niet gerelateerd aan politieke correctheid; het project wijst termen als master\/slave niet af en heeft zelfs nieuwe privileges toegevoegd zoals &#171;MASTER ADMIN&#187; en &#171;SLAVE ADMIN&#187;. In de mariadb-binlog utility en de commando's 'SHOW BINLOG EVENTS' en 'SHOW RELAYLOG EVENTS' is de weergave van replicatiefilters verzekerd.\n<li class=\"l\"> Constructie <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mariadb.com\/kb\/en\/drop-table\/\">DROP TABLE<\/a><\/noindex> nu betrouwbaar <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/jira.mariadb.org\/browse\/MDEV-11412\">verwijdert<\/a><\/noindex> tabellen die in de opslagmotor blijven, zelfs wanneer de bestanden '.frm' of '.par' ontbreken.\n<li class=\"l\"> Er is een hardware-versnelde versie van de functie crc32() ge\u00efmplementeerd voor CPU AMD64, ARMv8 en POWER 8.\n<li class=\"l\"> Sommige standaardinstellingen zijn gewijzigd.
